My 34 years of architectural experience cover residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, with significant practice in Colombia and 25 years in Montreal, Canada. My professional journey was substantially shaped by working with recognized architect Mr. Maurice Bergman in Montreal, a period that culminated in my becoming an associate at our firm, Bergman + Partners Architects Inc. During this time, I was an active participant in the conceptualization, design, and development of a broad range of architectural projects, gaining solid hands-on experience from translating abstract ideas into tangible realities in the early design stages to meticulously preparing construction documents. My responsibilities also included close client engagement, navigating complex city approval processes, and finalizing plans for tender and construction. This experience, while reflecting Mr. Bergman's architectural contributions, marks an important chapter in my professional development in building design.
I am proficient in managing projects from concept through construction documentation, focusing on sustainable and enduring design. I utilize AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lightroom, the Microsoft Office Suite, and AI technologies. My credentials include a Master of Architecture (McGill University, Montreal, Canada) and a Bachelor of Architecture (The Valle University, Cali, Colombia), along with MRAIC/CACB certifications. As a trilingual architect (English, French, Spanish), I offer a rich international perspective. Photography, a long standing interest, is also featured on this site.
